WHY BAMBOO?
Bamboo in nature is naturally antibacterial. Therefore, it reduces the chance of allergies or skin conditions. It is one of nature’s most sustainable products. It is UV-resistant, hypoallergenic, deodorizing, does not retain odors and is biodegradable.
Its inherent thermal characteristics offer great breathe ability; wicking moisture away from the skin, again, reducing the chances of an infection or allergy to occur. Bamboo is naturally anti-microbial. It contains an agent, “Bamboo kun”, that prevents bacteria from cultivating on it. Bamboo is beneficial to the CO2 value of the atmosphere. While growing, it emits more oxygen than the equivalent amount of wood pulp.
Bamboo keeps more that two billion people around the world employed. It grows without fertilizer as well as being a renewable resource for agro forestry products. It’s a species of grass that is harvested every third year; highly renewable.
WHY ORGANIC COTTON?
Organic agriculture protects the health of people and the planet by reducing the overall exposure to toxic chemicals from synthetic pesticides that can end up in the ground, air, water and food supply and the that are associated with health consequences, from asthma to cancer. Because organic agriculture doesn't use toxic and persistent pesticides, choosing organic products is an easy way to protect yourself, family and the environment.
